On the way home, I was informed that my freshman grandson, Andrew, dressing for Mariemont High varsity, got some playing time in their win over Batavia. I never thought that could happen. I wish I could have been in two places last night.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
There's not much better and more pure in sports than high school football. I was at the Fenwick vs Mt. Healthy game last night. That was a small division IV school against a larger division II school. Mt. Healthy had shut out a good big school last week and were heavily favored over the Falcons. Fenwick was over-matched in some phases of the game but stuck with it and scored with 36 seconds left to pull the 13-12 upset. It was great! I love it.
