Aunt ain't ant.  I think we need to make a concerted effort to correct the ugly mispronunciation of the word "aunt" in this country.  We could do it.  We should do it.  I, for one, from now on will always use the proper pronunciation of this word.

Aunt rhymes with daunt and flaunt.  Come on, everybody, get on the bandwagon.  Correct the children. Remind other adults.  Be sophisticated.  Be right.
