At Catholic Churches around the world this Sunday, a gospel story will be read that talks about persistence. A widow goes before an unjust judge in court demanding her rights according to the law. He rules against her. Women were second class citizens in those days.
What did she do? She wouldn't go away. She kept pressing her case. Eventually, the judge relented and changed his ruling in her favor.
What is the message? Persistence! Don't give up. If you are right, don't take "No" for an answer. A great lesson.
