BUGS

A bug crawled up in my nose yesterday morning.  Went straight to my right sinus cavity, it did.  I blew my nose a thousand times trying to get it out but its determined to stay in there.  Nothing else seems wrong with me so far.

I used some of my Sudafed that I got in Ireland a couple years ago...one shot in each nostril in the morning, again at noon and once more before bed.  The Irish evidently weren't lucky enough this day.

In the morning I drank a glass of water with an Airborne tablet dissolved in it.  Its a vitamin cocktail designed by a teacher for teachers to ward off illness.  I guess it knew I wasn't a teacher.

I fought through the constant nose drip to go out and dig my wife's car out of the ice and snow.  She just had to go out but couldn't make it back into the garage.  I worked up a good sweat which I thought might at least fool the bug into thinking it had lost the battle.  A hot shower followed but the bug was persistent.

I pulled out the heavy armor after a pizza dinner in front of the TV.  Absolute vodka and orange juice in equal portions times four would surely do the trick.  Alcohol to kill the bugger and vitamin C to scare it away.  The jury is out on that one.

I've set up the baby humidifier in an extra bedroom in hopes the humid air will allow the bug to slip out in the night.  Just to make sure he doesn't like staying with me, I did a shot of NyQuil before retiring.  I expect to be good as new in the morning though I might have a hangover.

Wish me luck.
O.O
