RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

SUNDAY SERVICE

There is a Hebrew prophet who lived about 500 BC named Zachariah.  He wrote a book by the same name which is part of the Christian and Jewish bibles.  He is referenced with other prophets in the Qur'an of Islam.

He prophesied that a new king would come to the world and there would no longer be war and everyone would be chum-pal-buddies.  Christians, of course, think that king was Jesus Christ.  Jews are still waiting - looking for the king.  Muslims think it was the great prophet Muhammad.  In any case, they are all still fighting with each other.  How sad is that?

I think it will not change until there are no more Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindu, Buddhists, atheists or whatever.  Pray, this week, for peace - that we will all just be People of God.
