SUNDAY SERVICE

This week we depart from the standard liturgy by celebrating the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Do you ask, "Why exalt the cross?" 

Keep these things in mind.  Each of us has a cross or crosses to bear.  Today we are reminded that crosses are not a bad thing but something positive.  No matter what cross you carry, there is someone or many with a heavier one.

A cross is an opportunity.  Something that you can overcome or raise yourself above.  Jesus taught us that you will be better for enduring your cross.   Without the cross, we would not have been saved.  Without your cross. . .
