WIND

The heavy winds, yesterday, and the perfunctory power outages brought something to mind that I should have thought of a long time ago.  When looking for a new house or building a new one, it should be standard practice to check the area for past power outages.

I have a friend whose electricity goes out every time it snows or it rains hard or the wind blows - every time. That goes past "how annoying" ... that's screaming crazy.  They should never have moved there.

Keep it in mind, tell your friends or anyone looking to move.  I know the power company has records - if not, the neighbors have memories.
