WHEN I WAS A KID

When I was a kid, (well, actually in college) the car I dreamed about was the brand new 1964 Jaguar XKE.  It was a V12 roadster - red with wire wheels. Here it is in all its splendor.

The engine had 12 cylinders (your car probably has four) and three carburators (your car has one or none). I didn't even care that the word on the street was that you had to re-tune the engine about once a month. It was just so   -   hot.
