The big question, "Is pain involved?"
This is what I thought about on my way to the dentist yesterday morning. Unlike dental work, death is not a penalty for doing something wrong. Good people die just as often as evil people.
People who take good care of their teeth can avoid the needle pricking their gum and being directed from side to side with numb pressure for endless seconds. They can avoid the buzz of the dentist's drill and the dust it kicks up in the mouth. They can avoid the loss of sensation in the mouth, the tongue, the lips and the cheek. They can avoid the slobbering and verbal blubbering that follows for hours.
Take good care of your teeth.
