WHEN I WAS A KID

When I was a kid, I grew up near the Cincinnati Gardens.  That was the home of the Cincinnati Royals NBA basketball team at the time.  I was a huge fan and went to games there very often.

One of their major opponents was the Baltimore Bullets.  Can you imagine calling a team the 'Bullets' now? Especially, in Baltimore?  The gun control wackos would be all over that.  How times change.

p.s.  Once, there was a major league baseball team known as the Texas Colt 45's.  Yikes!
