BENGALS

I always try to be level headed - especially about sports teams.  I'm old and I've been disappointed many times.  I always choose to be conservative in my thinking.

Well, the Bengals are 3-0.  Maybe that doesn't seem like such a big deal to you but think of it this way.  There are only 16 games in the regular season.  Nine wins will often get you in the playoffs and ten wins almost surely will.  Simple math then will tell you that the home team only needs to win six or seven of the next 13 games to get into the playoffs.  Seven of those games will be played in Cincinnati where they should have an advantage.

If the Bengals could win two of the next three games before the bye week, they would be sitting very pretty.  They host the Chiefs and the Seahawks and then go to Buffalo to play the Bills.  One win is more likely what they will get and that is a must - they can't lose all three.

Who Dey?

ps.  An ex-Bengal is leading what may be the best team in the NFL.
