SUNDAY SERVICE

This week we have an excerpt from Mark's Gospel.  Jesus lays it on the line to his apostles.  "Give up your life and follow me."  Almost every Apostle eventually became a martyr.  

Does He expect you to become a martyr?  If necessary, yes.  More likely, keep things in perspective.  The things of the world are not the most important.  Don't get hung up with "things" or "stuff" as most people are.  The winner is not the one with the most toys.  Share what you have with those in need.
