Today is the feast of food - today we remember the last supper of Jesus with his apostles.  Jesus gave himself to them and us.  It was the day before his death.

Food sustains our life - sharing your food is an expression of love.  The meanest dog will not bite the hand that feeds it.

Sharing food is the principle duty of family.  It creates a bond which cannot be easily broken.  As often as you can, dine together as a family.
