The Catholic Church now calls this Divine Mercy Sunday - it is the Feast of Mercy. The Lord has many attributes - today we emphasize his mercy.
This change in the Church's calendar was inspired by a Polish nun named Sr. Faustina who was canonized in the year 2000. Our charge today: be sorry for our sins! place our trust in Jesus! celebrate the feast! be merciful to others!
