RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

SUNDAY SERVICE

This week there is a plain message in the gospel.  Luke writes about the time Jesus cured 10 lepers of their illness by telling them to go show themselves to a priest.  They all went and it was verified that they were clean; they no longer had leprosy.  Only one returned to thank Jesus for curing him.

Jesus was ticked off and rightly so.  He told that man that he would surely by saved.  The other nine, not so much.  So there is just one big thing to learn from this.  It is right and strongly suggested that you always say "thanks" to someone who does something nice for you.  Be a thankful person.

Start every day; start every prayer by saying "thank you" to God for all He has done for you.
