Human babies are born with between 270 and 350 bones in their body. An adult human has 206 bones. I'm not kidding. Many bones in our body fuse together as we mature. The large number of bones at birth allows infants to be flexible and malleable.

Normal air is about 21% oxygen. It's about 78% nitrogen. The other 1% is other gasses and junk. If you tried to breathe 100% oxygen at normal pressures it would kill you - your body (lungs) couldn't take it.
Mused while watching the monkeys at the zoo, "Earth could be a zoo exhibit for a much larger, more highly evolved creature. The universe would be the entire zoo." I think it is.
George Washington was inaugurated on April 30, 1789. Subsequent normal inaugurations (thru 1933) were held on March 4 - the day that the Constitution took effect in 1789. Since 1937, normal inaugurations have taken place on January 20.
