MISTER EASE

He was born William Jefferson Blythe in 1946.  His father was William Jefferson Blythe Jr.  His mother was Virginia Dell Cassidy (married 1943).   His parents marriage should have been voided because it was later found that his father was bigamous.  His father died in an accident before he was born.

For a number of years William was raised by his grandparents Eldridge and Edith Cassidy. Virginia then married Roger Clinton Sr (1950).  Roger did not adopt William. Roger and Virginia had a son named Roger Clinton Jr.

Virginia once divorced Roger but remarried him after a few months.  After Roger died (1967), Virginia married Jeff Dwire (1969).  After Jeff died (1974), she married Richard Kelley (1982).

William Jefferson Blythe changed his name to Clinton in 1961 so that it would be the same as his half-brother. Now you have taken a look at the family tree of our 42nd President.  A complicated tree to be sure.
