Jewish law calls Saturday the Sabbath (meaning seventh) Day. The seventh day of the week is the day of rest according to Genesis - "On the seventh day He rested." That would make Sunday the first day of the week and Tuesday the third.
I'm told that Internationally Tuesday would be the second day of the week. I don't know how they figure.
But Christians consider Sunday the seventh day and the day of rest. That would make Tuesday the second day of the week.
Now I question my calendar. Why, if Sunday is the last day of the week, is it put in the first position of each week?
Confused? Well, what do you think?
😕
