HOLLOWEEN

Did you notice the spelling?  Halloween is hollow, if you ask me - at least the way we celebrate it.  Never forget that the word comes from All Hallows Eve.  The day before All Saints Day.

When you say the Our Father, the Lord's Prayer, you say "hallowed by Thy name."  To hallow is to set aside as holy - to honor - to respect greatly - to venerate.  All this for just the name of the Father - our God.  If nothing else, remember this today and tomorrow, pray to those who have passed to the next world - those we regard as saints.  Ask them to intercede for you with the Father.
🙏
