Vada Pinson, who played with the Cincinnati Reds baseball team from 1958 when he was 19 until 1968, had more career hits than Ted Williams who many think was the greatest hitter of all time.  Seems strange to me . . . check it.  Pinson had a long career - always good but never great.  Not in the Hall of Fame.
