The game was not exciting or very interesting to the average fan.
The half-time show was mundane.
The ads were way below standard for this program. My favorite tweet on Twitter post-game was as follows: "The funny Super Bowl commercials will return when we stop being offended by everything." - - Moe Egger
My friend tells me the post game talent show was also dreadful.
The Rams high-powered offense was only able to put 3 points on the board. If you were looking for their offensive coordinator, they don't have one. Head coach Sean McVay has a separate "run-game" coordinator and a "passing-game" coordinator. McVay calls the plays. Supposedly, the quarterback position coach, Zac Taylor, was instrumental in the offensive game plan and consulted on some play calls. All that and . . . 3 points.
Zac Taylor was named the new head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.
The money men in Las Vegas put the over/under bet for total points in the game at 56-1/2. With a final score of 13-3, the total of 16 points was way way under.
Off-Shore special bets ran this way: The over/under for Gladys Knight singing the national anthem was 1 minute 49 seconds. She finished the song in under 1:45 but added an additional "Brave" to go to 2:1. Officially, the song ends after the first "brave" so the Under bet won.
Those who bet on the coin flip won if they guessed tails.
