CINCINNATI

In case you've missed it, FC Cincinnati is off to a rousing start.  They lost their first game to the Sounders in Seattle 3-1  and then played Atlanta United to a draw.  Seattle and Atlanta were two of the top four teams in league play last year and Atlanta won the MLS Cup as tournament champions.

Their third game was the home opener and they trounced Portland Timbers 3- nil.  That gives them 4 points in the standings.  The A great start for a new team.  The Timbers were runners up in the MLS Cup tournament last year. 

They drew a capacity crowd at Nippert Stadium for their opener which was the second largest crowd in the league last Sunday.  Our Futbol Club plays the New England Revolution at Nippert today at 4 pm. 

Tell me the truth.  Are you getting into this soccer business?  I know it's foreign to most of you but I'm going to do my part to bring you up to speed - it's the yuppie thing to do.
