RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

SAN FRANCISCO

The beautiful 'City by the Bay' made the news again last week.  A watchdog reported that the San Francisco department of Public Works' records show that the incidence of human feces being reported on the city streets has increased.

In 2011, there were 5,547 different reports of human feces on the public streets made to the department.  Revolting!  That sounds like a lot to me.

In 2018, there were 28,084 different reports of human feces on the streets that were made to the department.  Totally disgusting!

Remember that these are only the reported incidents - there could be much more.  Does this mean that dog owners are required to pick up their pet's poop but not their own?

The Public Works department formed a 'pooper-scooper squad' whose only duty was to try to keep up with the problem.  One positive step for the city was taken when Nancy Pelosi was re-elected to Congress - she took her shit with her to Washington.  Too bad for us!
