THE WORD THIS WEEKEND

All readings at Catholic mass this weekend are about The Way - the forming of the early Church.  They show some of the problems which the Apostles overcame; the symbolism of the Revelation to John of how the church would look in the world; the promise of the Holy Spirit being sent to help the disciples along the way. 

The gist is that no matter how difficult it may seem, the path to individual perfection and the perfection of the Church, is in front of us.  We are surely imperfect and in some ways the Church is imperfect.  But, we must keep moving in the right direction - not standing still.  Determine to make yourself a better person each day.  Help is available - - - for the asking.
