Starfish have eyes; one at the end of each of their five arms.  They have a disc covering a hole on their underside which acts as a mouth and one on their topside used to intake or expel water.  If attacked, they can brake off an arm to escape and later grow another. (Very tricky!)


Bricks have holes in them to reduce the cost of shipping.  The holes reduce the weight but effect the  structural strength of the brick very little.  The color of the brick is determined by the heat of the firing furnace and the iron content of the clay used.
