This weekend at Catholic mass we celebrate the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ - in Latin: Corpus Christi. We read Luke's gospel version of the "loaves and fishes" story.
Sure, it was a miracle but moreover, it was a sign. Jesus, ever compassionate, did not send the crowd away; he gave them food. If nothing else, remember this. He also gave us food. It is there for you in God's house.
God is always compassionate and he will always give you what you really need. Be receptive.
