An emu is a large flightless bird of Australia. I saw many in the zoo when I was there. I recently learned that they produce dark green colored eggs. Each egg has the equivalent volume of 10 to 12 chicken eggs. What a deal this would be for Easter - less eggs required, easier to find and already colored.
Everyone wears jeans, these days - except me. That strong yet soft material's name has a French origin. There is a city in France called Nimes. 'De', in French, means 'from'. That's right friends - that's where we got it - de Nimes or denim.
Favorite quote of the week: "In the United States, we are free-range humans living on a tax farm"
Think about it.
😊
Have you heard of a quokka? They are like miniature kangaroos - a marsupial hopping on its back legs. Big ones are about the size of a very small dog. They can be found in Australia and small nearby islands. Quokkas eat vegetation and snakes are their main predator. So cute!
