Grant Wood painted a famous picture in 1930 called American Gothic.  You've all seen it.

The subjects were not local farmers but Wood's sister and his dentist.  Who knew?

Our hurricane winds always circulate around the eye in a counter-clockwise motion.  Is this like a toilet or drain where south of the equator they go the other direction?  Do they even have hurricane's south of the equator?
