MIDWEEK PRAYER

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day in the U.S.  In preparation, let's think of what we should be thankful.

The food we have for this dinner.
The place in which we eat it.
The friends and family with whom we enjoy it.
The country in which we live in safety.

But, let's not forget;
There are those in the world who have very little or nothing to eat today.
There are those who have no home or any cover under which to eat.
There are those who have to eat with strangers or alone.
There are those who live in a place in which they do not feel safe.

So, on Thursday, make a prayer of thanksgiving but also pray for those less fortunate.
