JANUARY 20

The Twentieth (XX) Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was enacted on January 23, 1933.   It provides that the the term of President of the United States shall begin on January 20 following the election.  Voila!   So, all Presidents since 1933, including Donald John Trump, were sworn in on this date except those replacing a president whose term was cut short;  i.e. Linden Johnson for John Kennedy and Gerald Ford for Richard Nixon.

So, it's like a birthday.  Happy Inaugural Day, Mr. President!  Hope things are peachy (and not impeachy).
