RANDOM MUSINGS FROM THE TOP OF THE HILL

MIDWEEK PRAYER

 Yesterday and every December 8, the Catholic Church honors Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as immaculate; born without sin so as to be worthy to carry her son; the Son of God.  One of the beautiful songs about Mary is called Immaculate Mary (the Lourdes Hymn).  Today, say or sing the words and listen to yourself.

Immaculate Mary, your praises we sing.
You reign now in Heaven with Jesus our King.

Ave, Ave, Ave Maria! Ave, Ave Maria!

In Heaven the blessed your glory proclaim;
on earth, we your children invoke your sweet name.

Ave, Ave, Ave Maria! Ave, Ave Maria!

We pray for our mother the Church upon earth,
and bless Holy Mother, the land of our birth.

Ave, Ave, Ave Maria! Ave, Ave Maria!

🙏
