I recently read that Bill Gates (Microsoft) and his wife now are the largest owner of private farmland in the United States.  They own 242,000 acres in 18 states and they own additional land that could be transitioned into farmland;  This ranks them as the 49th largest of all land owners.  He's going to be a busy guy plowing all those fields.  There are 2 million farms in the U.S. and 1.9 million of those are small farms.  Those 2 million farms take up about 900 million acres of land.

We send satellites / spacecrafts into outer space and throughout the universe looking for aliens.  There has only been one object that passed through our solar system like this.  The astronomers on Maui who spotted it gave it the name OUMUAMUA.  I think this is Hawaiian for UFO or What the Hell is This?

More than 1,700 people have died jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco since it's construction in 1937.  I'm pretty sure the jump doesn't kill them - it's the sudden stop that is the problem.   But don't lose hope; 26 have been known to survive. And now, a net is being constructed to catch the jumpers.  Construction started two years ago and should be completed this year.
