POETRY

I was scolded recently by a friend who said he thought I was getting lazy just reprinting old entries.  Yikes!  My thoughts are so much in demand.  One of my ideas in printing old material is to give readers the idea that they too could go back and read some great old bunkum.

Back to poetry.  Here's something new for you and you and you and you.

What do I love?

I love the sound of children joyfully at play,

I love the smell of a baby, clean and pure.

I love the taste of cool flavorless water on a warm day,

I love the thought which sparks new ideas.

I love the sight of the sunset o'er the sea melting away,

I love the touch of skin, whether smooth or wrinkled.

But most of all, with the help of God,
I love what my wife and I have made - what more can I say?
