IDGET

 What is an idget?

I have no idea.  But, I do know that there is such a thing as a widget.  It is something you don't know the exact name of but your sure it has some use.  Computer software makers use the name all the time.  Obviously, I have no idea what they're talking about.

There used to be a midget.  It was a small, tiny or little person.  Or it could be anything smaller than normal.  This definition must be stricken from your memory if it's in there.  That midget is a no-no. There is a type of race car they call midget.  It's really not that much smaller than other racers.

I find that nidget is an seldom used term for an idiot or fool.  No one has ever called me a nidget though I have often acted the part.

In the last few years, a play toy that appears to be just a spinner has been sold - they call a fidget.  Fidget is a descriptive for someone who can't stand still or is very restless.  Most recently, I have discovered that the Our Gang crew from the early days of movie pictures called an adult midget in baby's wear a fidget.  This little baby fidget smoked cigars.  Hilarious!  It was all news to me.

If you want to get from one side of a stream to another, the best way would be to Bridget.
