The basic unit of information in computer storage is the byte. Now, refer to your Greek language skills and know that 1000 bytes are a kilobyte, 1000 kilobytes are a megabyte, 1000 megabytes is a gigabyte, 1000 gigabytes are a terabyte, and 1000 terabytes are a petabyte. I could go further but it's just easier to say a wholelottabytes.
