The restaurant in the Ye Olde Tavern building in Sioux City, Iowa closed it's doors in 2020 - a concession to the pandemic and the death of the current owner.  Abraham Kaled operated the place as the Olde Tavern Inn and made it famous from 1934 until 1974.  The building has stood on the corner of 14th and Jackson Streets for 100 years.  The original menu consisted only of loose meat sandwiches that they dubbed Tavern Sandwiches.  That style dominated the menu all those years and pretty much changed the eating habits of the locals and the menus of all restaurants in that town.  Everyone sold "tavern sandwiches".

"I was introduced to two women, one was Russian and the other Lesbian.  Honestly, I have no idea where Lesbia is."  [drum roll]  Did you ever hear of Gaius Valerius Catullus?  He was a Roman poet who famously wrote erotic stories about his lover.  To save her identity, he called her Lesbia.  She was not a Lesbian; anything but.  This all leads me still to ask, "Where is Lesbia?"

The Queen Mum (Elizabeth and 96 years young) celebrated her 70th year on the throne of the British Empire last February.  She is their longest reigning monarch in history.

In Russian, Ukraine means "borderland".

About half of all people who ever lived, lived before Christ was born and half after.
