RETRO DAY

We're having our first sub-freezing temperatures in Southwestern Ohio this week.  We've had a most beautiful stretch of weather since we moved into Autumn.  It's been great - great for golf and the spirits.  I think we try to avoid the fact that Winter comes so closely behind Fall.  Sadly, Winter seems to come before Fall ends.  Here's a weather related entry I made almost exactly seven years ago.  It's short and cutesy.  I have no idea if my weather prediction panned out but my sports prediction was accurate; division winners!!  Lost in the playoffs, of course. Ugh!

WEATHER

What a great week of weather we've had here in southwest Ohio.  You gotta love this time of year when the nights are near frosty and the days sunny, warm and bright.

Now you must be wondering what our future weather may be like.  Here is the definitive answer.

I photographed this woolly worm speeding across the walking path at Sharon Woods this week.

Because it was in such a hurry, it means that Winter is coming early this year.

Because it is not too bushy, it means that Winter will be relatively mild this year.

Because it has two black stripes and one orange stripe, it means the Bengals will have a great Winter.

Don't laugh!
