THE WORD OF THE DAY

 The word of the day is GRATITUDE.   It is the state of being grateful; thankfulness.  

Jesus taught the world to pray and showed how important he considered prayer.  For him it was talking to his Father.  We use the gospel passages that recount how Jesus instructed that our prayer should be like what we call The Our Father or The Lord's Prayer.  

If that's all the further we ever get in our prayers, I think we are missing something; something big.  We are missing gratitude.  Make this thankfulness part of your prayer life.  No matter for whatever you are asking, don't forget to thank God for what you already have.  It is a gift and we are so very much blessed by what we have been given.  Be thankful.
