Merriam-Webster's word of the year is "gaslighting". I've never used the word or seen it in this context. Gaslighting is what we have been calling "fake news". Any time you mislead a person by what you say, you are gaslighting them. Conspiracy theories are gaslighting unless they happen to be true. I assume the word has something to do with lighting gas lights along the road or in very old houses lit by gas light. It could also refer to a trick some friends of mine did about 70 years ago - they pulled down their pants and lit their human gas like a blow torch. I probably shouldn't have mentioned that.

In South Korea there are women-only parking spaces known as "she-spots". They are bordered by hot pink painted outlines and contain a woman logo like we see on a bathroom door. These parking spots are larger than others. Some day they may come up with women-only public toilets. If they do, will the seats be larger than others.

Artists know that the average adult head is as wide as five eye widths; that the mouth is as wide as the distance between the center of the eyes; that the nose is as wide ass the space between the eyes. That doesn't work for emojis.

You can be a techie; think of your body as hardware and your brain/mentality as software. You get a bad idea and you've got virus in your software. Kill the virus.
