The legalization of marijuana across our country seems to be inevitable. It has crept into state after state in various forms. In many states like ours, we find it in the form of "for medical use" as prescribed by a doctor. In others, sold to anyone by outlets regulated by the individual state. It can't be many years before the majority of states will control it's sale to anyone of age in a similar manner to alcohol.
One of the sidelights of the marijuana movement is the pervasive sale of CBD oil and related products in grocery stores, pharmacies and hemp outlets. In our state it has turned into a thriving business for many. Understand that CBD is a non-addictive and non-hallucinogenic component of cannabis - the plant we call marijuana. The hallucinogenic component of the same plant is THC which is a completely different thing.
Here's what brought this to my mind. I find out that more and more people are feeding CBD to their animals - dogs and cats. Evidently, it has a very calming effect on them - similar to what it does to humans. So, if you have an overactive dog or a bad-tempered cat, try a little CBD mixed into their food. I hear it works wonders.
