PERSPECTIVE ON AGE and family
Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of North Korea since 2011, is 41 years old. We think Kim is married to Ri Sol-ju and have two children. If he lives a long life, he will be the same age as our President is now in 2062. If he's not assassinated, he will probably still be the Supreme Leader. One possibility is that he will turn the reigns over to one of his kids before that.
Joe Biden has been married to Jill Biden since 1977. He married Neilia Hunter in 1966. They had three children; Beau, Hunter and Neomi. Neilia and the three kids were in an auto accident in which she and Naomi did not survive. Beau died of cancer at the age of 46. Joe fathered a daughter with Jill named Ashley. All of Joe's children are older than Kim Jong Un. President Biden has announced that he will stand for re-election in 2024.
Xi Jinping, holding the primary offices of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Chinese Military Commission, is the leader of all China and the President of the Peoples Republic of China (PRC). Xi is 69 years old and has held his position since 2012. He rules with an iron fist. As long as his grip holds out, he will be there. Of course, a coup is always a possibility.
Vladimir Putin is the President of Russia and has been since December 1999. Vlad is 70 years old. He has been in charge since he was 48 years old. He married Lyudmila Shkrebneva in 1983 and they have two sons. The Putins divorced in 2013. Vladimir has been consorting with a gold-medal winning gymnast for some time, Alina Kabaeva, and they evidently have produced a son. Putin will remain in his position until he is assassinated or pushed out by the military.
Now comes the question: Is the world ruled by old men? Is that why we're in such a mess?
