Dollars and sense
Ben Franklin, one of our founding fathers, was involved in the design of our original one cent coin. He was a very smart guy. He knew how to fly a kite. When he suggested the turkey be our national bird, that's what he was told, "Go fly a kite."
The U.S. Mint was established in 1792 and started producing pennies the following year. They were made of 100% copper and were about the size of our current silver dollar.
Any way, Ben had suggested the following imprinted on that coins; "Mind your business" and "We are one". I told you he was smart. No matter, they settled on the word "Liberty" and the symbol of a thirteen link chain formed into a circle. If you've got one, you could be rich.
If you'd like a picture of Ben Franklin, get yourself a one hundred dollar bill.
