IT'S TIME

Last weekend, Daylight Saving Time (DST) ended for we folk in Ohio.  I hope you have changed all your clocks by now.

In March, the U.S. Senate passed a bill by voice vote that would keep Daylight Saving Time in force, year-round, forever.  The House of Representatives has not passed the bill and thus, we changed back to standard time again.  There are a lot of reasons why one time is better than the other - at different times of the year, why one time is more economical than the other at different times of the year, why one time is safer for children than the other, safer for driving, and why, some people think, changing is just not a good idea for our health and wellbeing.

So now, I have just named YOU the Czar of Time.  You get to decide.  What is your idea?  Do we continue to change from one to the other?  Do we keep the same time - all the time?   If so, which time works best?  Do we insist that every municipality, city and state comply with whatever you choose?   What is your most compelling reason?

You're the boss. Let me know what you came up with.
