SUN

 I was reminded of this because there is very little sun in LA right now.  Its a joke here  

Just how big is the universe?

Our sun is about 4.6 billion years old.  It should last for another 10 billion years before it totally burns out - give or take a few million years.  So, if we sent a message thru space to one of the distant planets we can see, we would not get a return message before our solar system was defunct - gonzo - caput.  Yikes!
