THREE IN ONE

This Sunday at Catholic Churches the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity is celebrated.  It is a mystery.

It is beyond our understanding.  One God,  yet three persons.  Each person distinct,  yet one God.  Jesus Christ, a man but also God.  He called God his father and that we should pray to the Father.  He told the Apostles that when He left for heaven, the Holy Spirit would come to them.  That Spirit must also be God.

Don't worry that you don't fully understand it all.  The Apostles didn't understand it either.  My patron, Patrick, taught the Trinity to the Irish people by use of the three-leaf-clover.  If that works for you, use it.

Just be certain that there is a God.  Know that Jesus Christ walked on Earth and died without objecting for the sake of all people.  Do as Jesus taught.  Live with love for all.  Know that there is a Holy Spirit alive in the world helping us on our way.  Build a personal relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
