It was revealed last week that every starting quarterback in the SEC makes more money from the school's NIL fund than, Brock Purdy, the Professional starting third-year quarterback of the San Francisco 49ers. He signed a four year, $3,375,008 contract. Less than $1 million per year. That's unbelievable!
Rookie contracts in the NFL, even for quarterbacks, are ridiculous compared to what goes on in the rest of the sports world. Some second-contract starting quarterbacks (4th year) are making $50 million per year. Just you wait until the next NFL Players Union contract comes due. Of course, rookies don't have a vote until after they have signed that first contract.
Momma don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys - get them into sports.
