The Place called "The Forbidden Isle" is Ni'ihau, one of the Hawaiian Islands. Here's some interesting data.
It's size is 7th among the islands of Hawaii, at about 70 sq mi. That's not quite but almost as large as Cincinnati, Ohio. Alas, it has a population of about 80.
My guess is that none of you have been there. It is owned by Keith and Bruce Robinson. They only allow their families and guests, US Navy personnel and government officials to visit.
The temperatures there range from a mean low of 68 to a mean high of 83. It is at low elevation and is sheltered from rain by the island of Kaua'i . As a result, it has a rather arid climate.
In the 2020 US presidential election, there were 43 Republican votes and zero Democrat. In 2024, the split was 22 for Trump and 1 for Harris.
I think I might like to buy an island. If you've got any good ideas or hear of any deals, let me know.
