Since I've been a bit under the weather this week, I've had time to think about things "medical". Here is what I've found.
About 50% of all vaccines are wasted; discarded because they have exceeded shelf life. That's a shocking number. It's shocking to me! Yes, some; but 50%! That's half. Who loses half of what they make or half of what they buy. Who is the real loser when that happens? The drug company that sold them to the retailer, doctors office or medical facility? Not likely. The retailer, doctor or medical facility? Not likely. That just means that vaccines must cost us twice as much as they should. We've got to find some way to prevent this from happening to that degree.
You know, when my kids come to my house and find food products that I have been hoarding for a while and summarily discard them. It hurts me. I've learned to scrape the mold off of bread and cheese. I've learned to ignore the strange colors that some of my fruit gets to. I've learned to buy items that don't expire or, at least, not as quickly. The medical industry needs to do like me.
My one big worry is that my body may not respond to well to necessary antibiotics in the future since I've been eating penicillium regularly. (A note, never do this with soft, slimy, or stinky cheese.)
