The Church celebrates some of the most important events of the year this week. Tomorrow, Holy Thursday, is the commemoration of the Last Supper. It was here that Jesus gave us the gift of Himself. It was a parting gesture; a saving gesture to the world.
Firday is Good Friday, commemorating the day Jesus suffered, died and was buried. God's gift to us - His son. Jesus the lamb led to slaughter.
Saturday is the day Jesus laid in the tomb, his human life taken away.
Sunday is the day Jesus rose from the dead and walked among us. The proof of the unlimited power - power over life and death.
Say: "Glory and praise to you Lord Jesus Christ; king of endless glory."
