Christians, followers of Jesus Christ, know that Jesus taught us to pray to His father. Prayer is talking; talking to God. It can be a hard thing to do if you've never done it. The great part about it is you can do it in silence; no one need know you are doing it. Even if you doubt there is a God, you have nothing to lose. What could possibly be holding you back. Prayers don't have to be written out somewhere. You can say whatever is on your mind. If you are totally at a loss, you can start with the prayer Jesus taught us.
My Father,
who is in Heaven,
holy is your name.
may our world become totally your kingdom,
may Your desires be done on Earth as they are in Heaven.
Please give us today whatever we really need
Please forgive us our sins, just as we forgive all those who have offended us.
Please lead us away from whatever may cause us to sin
and from all evil things and the evil one.
Amen
